Michael Daily, who formerly lived here, was killed in Indianapolis, Saturday while working on the railroad track near the Union Station. A Big Four engine backed into the gang of which Daily was foreman. He had one leg cut off and suffered other injuries that caused instant death. Another of the men died on the way to the hospital. Daily was the son of Bryan Daily, well known to all our older citizens. - kbz
